Discover Redington Beach
Redington Beach is a small, mostly residential town on the Pinellas County barrier islands, between Clearwater Beach to the north and St. Pete Beach to the south. The Gulf of Mexico is on one side and the Intracoastal Waterway on the other.
That makes it a quiet base for beach days, sunsets and time on the water, with livelier beach towns a short drive in either direction. The town keeps five public beach accesses and four town parks.

About 10 minutes by car
A waterfront village of more than 100 shops and restaurants, and the departure point for dolphin-watching and shelling tours, fishing charters, boat rentals and parasailing.

Clearwater Beach and Sunsets at Pier 60
About 30 to 40 minutes by car
Pier 60 Park hosts a free nightly sunset celebration of artisans and street performers, from about two hours before sunset to two hours after, weather permitting.

St. Pete Beach and historic Pass-a-Grille
About 30 minutes by car
At the southern tip of the island, Pass-a-Grille is a National Register historic district with a wide beach, the shops and restaurants of 8th Avenue, and no high-rise hotels. The city publishes a self-guided walking tour.

About 35 minutes by car
The Dalí Museum holds a major collection of Salvador Dalí’s work, and the St. Pete Pier has restaurants, parks, a playground, a splash pad and a fishing deck on the bay.

On the water
Fishing charters, cruises and boat rentals run from John’s Pass. Coastal Haus and Sea Haus also have docks of their own.

Getting around
Several of the homes provide bikes and beach gear. Redington Beach has not designated any streets for golf carts; registered low-speed vehicles may use streets posted at 35 mph or less.
