SonnenHaus takes its name from the German for sun house, and the layout earns it: a single-level plan with an open, airy floor plan, a fully fenced yard and a private pool that catches the Florida light most of the day.
Four bedrooms sleep eight — two kings, a queen and two twins — with a television in every room. Two full bathrooms serve the house, one with a bathtub, and there is an outdoor shower for coming back from the beach.
No stairs anywhere, parking for three to four cars, and beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and a cart already provided. The sand is a five-minute walk away, and bikes are there for everything further.

Very nice place, we had a great time in the pool. Short drive to Clearwater and multiple restaurants near by. We were happy that the house matched the pictures of the inside. Very nice and the kitchen had plenty of dishes to cook with.

The location was fantastic, with a beautiful beach just nearby, and the recent renovations inside the home were very nicely done.
That said, for nearly $2,400 for a 3-night stay, we expected the property to be better maintained. The biggest disappointment was the pool. It was murky for most of our stay because the pump wasn’t working due to a breaker that wouldn’t stay on. There was also bubbling paint on the bottom of the pool, which made it look poorly maintained.
We also had ongoing issues with one of the two toilets, which repeatedly stopped working during our stay. With a group of nine people, having only one reliable toilet was inconvenient.
Overall, we enjoyed the location, the beach, and the updated interior, but the maintenance issues kept the property from feeling like the premium rental the price suggested.

Stocked with so many amenities-noddles, rafts, basketball/volleyball set for the pool, ample number of beach towels, beach toys/chairs/wagon-very helpful to have all of that taken care of! There was a plumbing issue and within an hour of me alerting the rental company, a plumber was there fixing the issue. My family and I will definitely be back!

Redington Beach is residential and low-rise, which is what makes a five-minute walk to the sand possible in the first place. The house sits close enough that the beach becomes something you do twice a day rather than once, and far enough back that the yard and pool stay private.
