Blue Ridge Mountain Haus sits high on Cherry Log Mountain, about fourteen minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and far enough up the ridge that the view does most of the talking. Walls of glass open onto two large decks, and the main living space runs from a stacked fireplace to a dining table set squarely in front of the mountains.

The plan is deliberately small. Two king suites, two and a half baths, and one generous shared space — a cabin built for two couples or a family of four rather than a crowd. Room-darkening shades and Egyptian cotton linens make the bedrooms genuinely quiet, and a walk-in closet means you can actually unpack.

Outside is the reason to book. A hot tub, a fire pit and a separate fire bowl give you three different ways to spend an evening, and the Benton MacKaye Trail is a four-minute walk from the door.

Cherry Log Mountain and the Blue Ridge valley

The cabin sits in a neighbourhood the Benton MacKaye Trail runs straight through, so a serious hike starts with a four-minute walk rather than a drive. Downtown Blue Ridge is fourteen minutes away for dinner and the scenic railway, Ellijay is twenty, and the roads in between are lined with orchards and tasting rooms. The drive up is paved with a short gravel stretch at the end — no four-wheel drive needed.
