Sea Haus sits on a calm waterfront cove in Redington Beach, on the barrier island between Clearwater and St. Pete Beach. The back of the house is the point: a resort-style pool, an expansive paver patio, waterfront dining and lounging, and a private dock on protected water.

Three bedrooms sleep six. The primary suite has a king bed, a freestanding soaking tub, an oversized walk-in shower and its own access to the patio. A second bedroom holds two full beds, a third has a queen, and every room has a television.

The house was renovated with impact-rated doors and sliders, new plumbing and coastal furnishings throughout. Bring a boat — there is a slip — or borrow the bikes and beach gear and make the short trip to the resident beach access.

Redington Beach, between Clearwater and St. Pete

Redington Beach is a narrow, residential stretch of the Gulf coast — quieter than its neighbours, and minutes from waterfront restaurants, boutique shopping, fishing charters and boat rentals. From the house it is a short bike ride or golf-cart trip to the resident beach parking access and the sugar-white sand beyond. Dolphins turn up in the cove often enough that guests stop being surprised by them.
